ORGANIZATION
Our client is an innovative US fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets proprietary, high-performance analog, mixed-signal integrated circuits (“ICs”). Since its inception about 3 years ago, the Company has introduced more than a dozen state of the art products, generating multi-million-dollar annual revenue, and on the trajectory to experience significant future growth. The products are widely used by leading OEMs worldwide in the emerging multimedia, digital consumer and wireless applications. The company has great potential for becoming a world-class company in these highly profitable markets.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to the CEO
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The position will play a critical role in the daily and strategic operations of the firm. He will be responsible for all aspects of the performance and will also interact extensively with management across different functional groups at several locations, to provide leadership and directions.
His primary responsibilities will include:
Form a strong partnership with the CEO in leading the company, and serve as a sounding board in corporate planning and executions.
Shape and develop group strategies, operations and planning, sales and marketing, manufacturing and logistic, IT. Ensure operational resources are aligned with corporate imperatives and objectives.
Help Set group performance goals and objective and then execute, ensuring progress is made and corrective measures, are taken as necessary.
Lead the growth and development of the management. Improve their bandwidth and instill esprit de corp in the management team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
A degree in microelectronics / electrical engineering or physics, ideally with an MS or MBA and above.
Must have 15 to 20 years progressive experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior management or executive level positionin semiconductor or electronics/systems industry.
Must be an outstanding communicator and a successful leader with a proven track record of effective management.
Expertise in the semiconductor process or fabless projects development a strong plus.
Candidates who have run their own companies or who have played GM/leading roles in small business units of larger companies would be of greatest interest.
Candidates who have worked in both US corporations and their Great China's subsidiaries for both manufacturing and S&M, fluent in English and Chinese, and have a deep understanding of Asian and Western cultures would be ideal.
Must be a results-oriented team player, solutions creator and posses an entrepreneurial mentality.
Ideally possess track records which demonstrate ability to drive organizations forward in a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment with a solid infrastructure and evolving branch network.
