Being real time has its own value!
It's not a photography contest here.
Digital camera's optical properties are optimized for special cases. First daylight, then indoors, under different lights....a very time-consuming process. Early morning is one of the marginal cases.
Sony and Canon digital cameras are producing the best the colors.
The contrast and saturation may also be affected by the media you use to view the picture. For example, the computer monitor and notebook may show different degree of color fidelity.
To compare fairly with your leica camera, print your photo and have it scanned into the computer. Compare it with digital camera pictures side by side on the same screen. Then you can say which is better than the other.
