some benefit/advantages for PEr and IBer, for sure;
any conflicts of interests, no doubt about that, 'cause GP/LP/portfolio companies have different criteria from that of IB's clients... we can probably see more PE backed-up deals later on, and hopefully not that much severe disputes.
