Actually Chicago. He was with the UBS Brinson division, now UBS Global Asset Managment. Gary Brinson was Chairman/CEO of UBS GAM at the time (late 90s). When Brinson retired, Peter Wuffli, took over from him, who also ba<x>sed in Chicago.
Peter W later becomes the group CEO of USB AG globally.
Myself was originally with the derivative specialist O'Connor Associate which was acquired by SBC. SBC later merged with UBS. I was stationed in Chicago, HK and Tokyo with brief time in London. (Stamford was under / just complete of construction at the time).
Tons of very talented people I was lucky enough to work with during these years (1990-2000).
Quite a few are semi-retired. None of them turns into sea turtles sadly.
It is heartbreaking to see the low caliber of sea turtles cheating the press shamelessly in their homeland !!!
