Job Description
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Financial Services (FS) Core Banking professionals have deep banking industry skills who serve retail, investment and commercial banks, as well as a variety of new entrants and innovators such as online banks and brokerages. Their insights, experience and credentials come from deep industry expertise and/or client experience which gives them deep knowledge of our banking offerings including Risk & Regulatory Management, Business Process & IT Transformation Outsourcing, Core Banking Systems, and Operational Excellence. Individuals analyze client business processes and target specific strategic business opportunities to help banks understand the links between operational performance and financial performance better than their competitors, thereby enabling our clients to become high performance businesses.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Shaping and leading programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation programs/projects
• Identifying and prioritizing account level value creation opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of client high level visions, performance gaps, and needs
• Translating and conveying client business needs into tangible business solution architecture
• Shaping and leading effort to define organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies and performance measurements/KPIs
• Shaping and leading business architecture transformational programs
• Monitoring and managing target value and performance goals (e.g., strategic, financial and operations), ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and adjusting program if necessary
• Assessing and managing risk throughout all aspects of the business solution implementation
• Leveraging the full range of appropriate client and Accenture resources in designing the change plan
• Leading effective multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver the business outcomes of the journey
• Monitoring journey results/business outcomes and making adjustments as needed
Expertise in Core Banking skills
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
Professional Skill Requirements
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering with minimum 7-10 years relevant experience
Strong business and industry acumen in Banking industry
Possess business and functional skills in business diagnostics, financial analysis, strategic planning, operations improvement and process re-engineering
With prior project experience in planning and implementing large-scale business and operations transformation programs in the financial services industry
Good project management and change management skills
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Consulting experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Good written and oral communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
Willing to travel within region for projects.
Candidates with more experience may be considered for the position of Senior Manager.
