Microsoft has designated China as 1 of 3 strategic R&D sites for its fastest growing multibillion dollar business. With offices in Beijing and Shanghai, the SQL China R&D Center is chartered to work on a variety of established core product components as well as driving innovation in new technology areas.
Within that business, the Data Programmability (DP) Team is an integral part of the world wide DP engineering system delivering a variety of mission critical system software and services including but not limited to ODBC, OLEDB and ADO (which are collectively known as MDAC) and MSxml. If you are passionate about Data Platform technologies, OS internals and want to be part of our world-class engineering team; SQL China R&D is the place for you!
As a DP SDET, you will build functional, security, performance and stress test automation for features built into future as well as currently shipping versions of the Windows Operating System. On top of test automation development, you will play an integral part in the new feature design and development process. To be successful in this position you must be able to adapt to and improve software development processes that require cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of professional test automation development for a commercial enterprise product.
Experience in one or more of the following preferred but not required: Operating Systems, Databases, and Client-Server applications.
Proficient in C++, C# or Java.
COM experience is beneficial but not required.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
Fluent English; Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
