Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum:
•Strong English and Mandarin language skills: speaking, reading and writing.
•Strong technical ability. Be able to grasp existing system knowledge and apply knowledge to gather requirements for system extensions
•Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
•Be able to write effective functional requirements/specification
•Great attention to detail and follow through on various tasks
•Be able to effectively communicate with other PGMs, Development, QA and Product Management groups
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
•Good understanding of modern multi-tier architecture and distributed systems.
•Good understanding of xml and Web services oriented development
Preferred:
•Knowledge of and experience with Linux, Java, Tomcat, Apache.
Education, Certification, and/or Training:
Minimum:
•B.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline.
Preferred:
•PMI Training or certification is a plus
Experience:
Minimum:
•At least 4 years PGM experience in 24x7 large online transaction processing system environment
•At least 2 to 3 years development or QA experience
Preferred:
•At least 5 years PGM experience in ecommerce development environment is a plus.
•Experience working with geographically distributed project team members.
