Position: IT Director
Job Qualifications
1. Minimum of 10 years experience in IT and closely related technologies with a minimum of 4 years in the area of Microsoft based environments preferred.
2. MCSE Certification with emphasis on Windows XP client and 2003 server, Exchange 2003 and SQL server 2000 or above preferred.
3. Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent Certification including a minimum of routers, firewalls and general networking is highly desirable.
4. Exceptional problem solving and technical skills are necessary.
5. Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills.
6. Previous IT management with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in the IT arena.
7. Proven project management skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Mandarin and English.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develops, proposes, implements, and monitors approved IT activities to support company’s strategic initiatives.
2. Manages issue resolution with systems & processes quickly, as well as troubleshoots to control future issues.
3. Collaborates, develops, and directs application implementation or development efforts.
4. Establishes and manages Information Security compliance and assists with maintenance and development of company security and related IT policies.
5. As a management team member, collaborates, challenges when needed, shows leadership and acts as a driving force behind IT & Infrastructure initiatives.
6. Works with peer level team members to establish IT development priorities for the company.
7. Contributes to team effort by assisting other department personnel in accomplishing goals and performing projects as assigned.
8. Develops and recommends department goals, annual operating plans, and budgets, all of which support company goals.
9. Directs department operations to optimize use of personnel, skills, equipment, and facilities.
10. Establishes challenging performance objectives, monitors staff performance, and conducts timely annual performance appraisals.
11. Develops and manages an effective department through selection, training, compensation, and motivation of all personnel.
12. Evaluates department structure and team, plans for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible).
