General Manager – Information Technology (China) (Ref.: KEAS/GMIT)
Role:
Work in our China head office in Beijing, you will be responsible for the nationwide IT budget planning and control, leading the execution of system standardization and migration to meet the international service level demand. You will lead a medium size IT team to deliver efficient and effective services to a large group of users supporting a sustainable business growth. Key business operations will cover contract logistics, freight forwarding, express and distribution, project logistics, and shipping line functions. This position will be reporting to the Executive Vice President of the domestic organization while maintaining a functional reporting relationship to the IT Director in the Hong Kong head office.
Requirements:
Successful candidate should be university graduate with at least 15 years relevant experience gained in leading multinational corporations. Recent 5 years working in domestic China at a department head level managing not less than 50 people in a regional basis is required. As this is a key role within the organization, the position requires both strong leadership and management skills to lead changes to the traditional domestic IT environment, practical experience and ability to provide workable solutions are critical to the success in this role. Technically, you should possess all rounded knowledge covering both business application systems as well as hardware and telecom infrastructure. Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must.
