Job DescriptionIBM DB2 Content Manager is the industry leading middleware for enterprise content management, it provides an infrastructure to manage large collections of digital content including text, graphics, images, video, audio and web content. The candidate will focus on L2 support work for ECM products, which provides product specific service for worldwide customers. Basically, L2 will take the problems from the Front-End team, communicate with customers or Front-End team, analyze the problem and solve it finally. The challenging work calls for candidates who are strong on both communication(especially in English) and technology.
QualificationsBachelor or Master degree major in Computer Science or related ones. People who had oversea education background is preferred.
IBM Certification Preferred.
Desired Experience- Good knowledge of z/OS and familiar to the concepts of zSeries. Hands-on experience on z/OS is required.
- Good knowledge of databases and familiar with DB2 for z/OS
- Good knowledge for other IBM products over z/OS: WAS, Tivoli
- Good software engineering knowledge & experience
- Good programming skill is preferred
- Excellent communication skill. Previous experience on customer support or customer related work is preferred.
- Excellent written/spoken English
- Self-motivated team player
- Quick learner

Business Unit Description
MBPS(Managed Business Process Services) Asset China team is part of MBPS Asset Lab WW organizations. The objective of MBPS Asset Lab is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of building solution contect - using common components, standard processes and a common platform. The China team was established in 2006/2 and had a fast growth in 2006. The team mainly focuses on CSDP(Common Service Delivery Platform) which is an implementation of a 3-tiered SOA architecture for building highly leveraged services solutions. The team also focus on developing different solutions that based on CSDP, such as HR,ECM,Finance and Banking solutions. These solutions cover many IBM middlewares such as WebSphere Portal/WebSphere Process Server/Content Manager/DB2/Tivoli/Rational etc.
In this team, you will have chance to:
- Work on latest technologies and understand new business model
- Work on solutions from which you can understand how IBM different products work together to implement customers' requirements
- Work with IBM top experts (DE,STSM) to learn from them
