1> Software Engineer,Telecommunication Technology Center
Product Development

- Join as a member of the telco development team on the Telecommunications Technology Centre.
- As a member of the Telecommunications Technology Centre, your job is to create high performance and scalable infrastructure code for the Telco network elements and Parlay X development.
- The BEA WebLogic Communications Platform is the first converged IT and telecom platform, providing full-service lifecycle capabilities in a carrier-class environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write functional and technical specifications for product features
Code and unit test product features
Diagnose and fix product problems/bugs
Review product documentation
Provide input to QA team on design and development of system tests
Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) programming
Detailed knowledge of Relational database and SQL programming
High proficiency in J2EE programming including RMI, JDBC, JMS
Experience with UNIX (one of Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX) and Windows
3-5 years of commercial software development experience in middleware products
Experiences with JSR 175 ? metadata Facility for Java is a plus
Basic CORBA knowledge and Development experience
Strong verbal and written English skills
DESIREABLE KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS
Solid experience with Java (or equivalent) in the industry with the ability to write maintainable test code.
2 - 4 years of product and/or QA development in JAVA / J2EE or equivalent technologies.
Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting product problems.
Experience with test automation or test automation development (JUnit / Cruise Control a plus).
Solid UNIX environment experience.
Able to independently develop testing strategies and techniques.
Experience with testing SIP.
Experience with Parlay or ParlayX 2.0
Experience with commercial telecom testing equipment.
Knowledge of the SIPServlet API (JSR116).
Knowledge of VoIP related standards, specifically the SIP protocol (RFC 2543, 3261, 3262, 3265, 3428).
Knowledge of existing SIP server solutions.
Experience with MMSC and SMSC integration (SAMS messaging API, JSR 212).
Experience with JAIN/SLEE, JAIN/SIP.
Experience with other Java tools such as Findbugs and code coverage solutions.
Experience with CORBA/JAVA commercial project development
Working knowledge in J2EE Web applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Have good time management skills.

BEA WebLogic Server (WLS) is a leading J2EE Application Server and serves as the foundation for BEA's WebLogic Platform. The WLS xml Web Services team owns many server-wide efforts for the next generation xml-based messaging platform. The team uses Agile Software Development practices to realize the vision of SOA across the BEA platform.
Responsibilities:
* Be a major contributor to the Web Services core runtime
* Implement infrastructure that will support thousands of concurrent users and transactions
* Participate in Web Service standards and specifications
* Design and implement Web Service specifications
* Work closely with product management and QA to ensure that our customers are able to work with our platform and that their feedback is incorporated into the product
Qualifications
* 5+ years overall development experience
* 2+ years enterprise software experience in Java
* Strong systems level programming skills in Java
* Excellent object Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD) skills
* Proficient in xml parsing and processing

Preferred:

The requirements is for engineers for Handset WinCE development. Should be able to design and architect WinCE/ Symbian based handset applications. Implement Symbian based solutions -define development guidelines, ensure performance, memory issues, etc and solve critical problems.
Exp/ knowledge Reqd. :
1) 1-5 yrs work experience in WinCE related Handset software development.
2) Very good knowledge of WinCE APIs and J2ME
3) Very good knowledge of object oriented design and C++.
4) Preferably knowledge of TI-OMAP platform
Besides having experience in symbian / wince, we can also look at candidates who are having experience in base-porting in linux environment. Good amount of experience in Linux & some exposure to symbian can be considered.
4>Technical Leader

Experience/ Knowledge:

2) Very good knowledge of Symbian APIs, Series 60/80 SDKs, Code Warrior and J2ME
3) Very good knowledge of object oriented design and C++.
4) Preferably knowledge of porting Symbian on TI-OMAP platform.
Qualification : BE/MCA/B.Tech/M.Tech
