International Complex Pricing Specialist opening in Beijing/Shanghai, China

Key Purpose of the Role:
1. To work closely with regional Sales, Business and Contract management teams to deliver cohesive Competitive Complex Pricing to meet customer requirements (eg SLAs, commercial terms, etc) for third party services for Greater China (i.e. PRC, HK, Taiwan) and Japan.
2. To deliver competitive pricing within agreed timescales using internal process & systems specific to the account and to meet commercial trading principals within Tax, Legal & Regulatory guidelines for the above countries.
3. To provide regular updates to meet requirements within ICD (International Commercial Development) e.g. Performance reports
4. Work with other ICD functional groups & delivery teams e.g. Central Order Team to resolve customer and contract issues / escalations.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. To work closely with Contract team and provide world class international pricing/quotes to Company contract teams for Greater China (i.e. PRC, HK, Taiwan) and Japan;
2. To work within timescales, process and systems in providing competitive pricing with agreed timescales and commercial aspects as per customer requirements.
3. Negotiate best prices and service solutions based on specific contracts and individual bid requirements so as to win profitable and sustainable business for COMPANY.
4. To use Company’s preferred suppliers where possible and work with other procurement units in meeting customer requirements.
5. To provide regular reports specific to within ICD;
6. To work with the contract teams, other virtual team members e.g. GS Procurement, Order teams etc in resolving issues on pricing, order or delivery.
7. To own and resolve customer & contract queries and managing pricing escalations through to resolution;
8. To work within appropriate guidelines eg trading agreements, entities, commercial, tax, legal & regulatory in ensuring smooth and effective trade;
9. To work within Company’s business environment, organisation - including Entities, Joint Venture’s and partners - and strategic vision.
10. To pro-actively manage feedback information on supplier capabilities (products, pricing etc) for Greater China (i.e. PRC, HK, Taiwan) and Japan enabling customer expectations to be expertly managed;
11. To proactively manage feedback information to GS procurement where service / price could be improved
Essential Skills & Experience
· Experience
- Experience & knowledge of Complex Pricing of International Telecom Portfolio products (Circuits, MPLS, routers etc) for Greater China (i.e. PRC, HK, Taiwan) and Japan region;
- Very good knowledge of Telecoms in Greater China (i.e. PRC, HK, Taiwan) and Japan;Ø Experience of working with Telecom suppliers;
- Working in a Commercial and Regulated environment;
- Commercial understanding of the Bid process
