特大喜讯: 同在美正宗老外免费网上一对一练口语
Ms. Zhang, my former co-worker at San Francisco, came back to Chongqing [She graduated from 西师附中.] and we had lunch together last Monday.
She said she would move back to Chongqing with her white husband shortly. Both of them will teach at Chongqing University on a part-time basis and her husband [Paul] is very interested in our English corners. As a matter of fact, Paul, a PhD from Stanford University, was one of the seven judges for our English corners’ 2nd Spoken English Competition last October.
Paul is currently running an investment service company and the minimum deposit for opening an account with him is US$1 million! He said many of his clients are very successful in their career, but they do not seem to have meaningful retirement life. Therefore, some of his clients would also come to Chongqing to look for their new life.
I said “Why don’t we start talking with each other before their arrival?”
This is why I have registered a Yahoo group to facilitate the online conversation.
If any of you would like to chat with native English speakers online for free, simply click www.cqhappyenglish.org. There is a link for you to join the group.
After you join the group, you can e-mail to any group members to ask for online chat.
Of course, there would be more students than native English speakers. Therefore, you may have to compete for the opportunities to chat with them, which would also benefit you future job hunting and possibly your entire career!
Note that this group has nothing to do with relationship or the likes although everything could be possible.
