Position Description:
• Manage Product rollout and support ownership from fault replication through resolution for China customers.
• Has an excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skill. The ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team is essential
• Develops and maintains relationships with China customers, vendors, and standards bodies to strengthen and maintain Conexant position as a market leader.
• Works closely with product teams to assist with product design providing specific China market inputs, project scoping, and resolution of technical issues
• Manage and Track customer product requirements to drive development engineering as part of internal marketing function
• Possesses and shares knowledge of the broadband marketplace in China
• Communicates certification/evaluation bodies to improve the certification processes and requirements
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes milestones to meet objectives
• Achieves goals that will affect costs, personnel and deadlines in the organization; viewed as a technical resource and subject matter expert by peers throughout the organization and across various functions
• Manages multiple tasks concurrently with minimal supervision
• Travel to China is expected to be significant part of the job requirements.
Qualifications:
• BSEE or equivalent experience with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in modem design, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, xDSL, and working knowledge of 'C' programming language and PC's
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in broadband environment.
• Demonstrable leadership in a broadband product support and roll out environment
• 3+ years experience in the silicon or data communications industries focused in the area of customer support
• Strong technical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Bi-lingual (English/Chinese)
• Knowledge of Broadband market in China is plus.
• Able to Travel
