PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The APJ Online Business Editor will lead and manage the editorial content roadmap and calendar working with various Global eCommerce and APJ eBusiness teams. Key responsibilities include:
·“Change the business” new/breakthrough content improvements to radically change how customers use and purchase on.com websites
·“Run the Business” content enhancements to contstantly evolve and improve user experience, navigation and business results for existing APJ.com content.
·Own, maintain and drive APJ editorial content roadmap and decisions with stakeholders.
·Briefing writers, agencies, developers and designers on content projects
·Sets the direction and communication to key internal and external teams on APJ content projects
·Scaling global best practice sharing to APJ.com websites
·Responsible for aesthetic and navigational efficiency of the Web site.
Adherance to.com content and user experience style guide
Co-management of beta (A/B) testing roadmap, test results and decision making
SKILLS
The Business Editor has a strong grasp of the online/eCommerce space with a balanced approach to driving innovative content with strong financial benefit. The Business Editor thrives in challenging project and organisation situations to effectively influence and drive agreements within different global and regional online teams.
·At least 5+ years in relevant online/new media content experience. 8-10+ years work experience.
·Ability to demonstrate diversified online editorial/project management experience or ability, excellent written and oral skills； attention to detail, content editing skills, a creative flair and approach to assignments.
·Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills； ability to work independently, quickly and thoroughly under multiple deadlines
·Strong eye for detail and organization as well as the ability to focus on the “big-picture”
·Must be flexible and possess the ability to balance the management of multiple projects simultaneously, exhibiting good judgment in how content-related activities are completed based on evolving needs and changing timelines and priorities
·Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
·Strong project-management and problem-solving skills
·Basic knowledge of basic HTML and web technologies
Strong verbal and written English is required. Additional languages is a plus.
