We are an International Human Capital solutions provider. Our client, a Global Fortune 500 company, is one of the world largest makers of agricultural equipment and construction equipment. It has operations in 24 countries and sells all over the world . Due to its fast expansion in its international region, it is now looking for a high caliber individual to fill the follow position:
HR VP– International Region (Asia Pacific, Middle East, East Africa and Eastern Europe) - Location Open (Shanghai or HK or Singapore)
Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Decision Making Authority:
- Develop, implement and manage Regional Competitive Compensation Plans
- Develop and Implement Regional Competitive/cost effective Benefit Plans
- Lead/Participate in Regional Pension Boards to ensure active management of Pension funds
- Provide efficient and effective recruiting processes for all levels
- Lead and support diversity initiatives to ensure the ability to attract, retain, and motivate
- Develop and provide a comprehensive Orientation /On Boarding Process
- Develop and implement an effective job posting process for employees internal opportunities
- Support the Design, Sourcing of Global and Regional Training Programs and leverage training
- Provide tools, processes and coaching to Managers to become effective leaders/coaches
- Support in Succession Planning, Hi-potential and Management Review Processes
- Report, analyze and recommend actions to reduce turnover and improve retention
- Develop and Implement "Positive Employee Relations Processes"
- Provide Regional Labor Relations expertise and maintain positive relations with unions.
- Development of Regional HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency
- Develop an efficient and effective payroll process and HRIS
- Effectively implement all Global HR processes in the Region to ensure global consistency.
- Provide reporting of key HR metrics by function, by region
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
- 15 to 20 years of broad Human Resources Experience
- Understand different businesses models/functions quickly
- Relate to all levels of the organization
- Able to work in a highly Matrix environment
- Strong leadership skills and results oriented
- Independent, acccountable and provides a challenging/rewarding environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- English is a must, Mandarin is an advantage
