1. POSITION SUMMARY
Briefly summarise the position’s purpose. The purpose statement should be a brief statement not exceeding three or four lines.
The role of the business planning manager in S&F is to lead the decision support functions such as demand planning, BDT finance and supply finance. In this role the job holder plays an important role in “co-piloting” decision making on strategic, operational and financial issues in the business.
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
List (at least six) brief statements that describe what the position is required to do.
- Lead and develop the S&F associates in the functions demand planning, BDT finance and supply finance
- Act as a co-pilot to the BDT heads with a special focus on the responsibility of being the co-pilot of the snackfood BDT head
- Ensure proper control and transparency of all marketing related expenditures
- Ensure that S&F input into the decision making process is done in a timely and high value added way.
- Ensure that the demand planning process fits well with the overall S&OP process of MCH
- Give input into the strategic planning process of the BDTs
- S&F representative in at least one BDT
3. DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY

- Input into Strategic planning & S&OP process
- Recommend corrective actions to meet overall BDT financial targets
- Decide to ensure appropriate accounting methods in line with finance manual
- Decide on expenditure up to 500 kRMB
