------ The Challenge -----------
You have been hired as a pricing consultant to ZS Airlines, which has 100 customers and is the only airline servicing two small cities in the Midwest. Half of ZS’s customers are leisure travelers and half are business travelers. Business travelers are willing to pay up to $600 for a ticket that does not require a Saturday stay-over and up to $300 for a ticket that does. Leisure travelers are more flexible, willing to pay $300 for a ticket regardless of whether it requires a Saturday stayover. ZS does not know whether any particular customer is a business or leisure traveler. Consequently, they charge $300 for all tickets.
Your mission: to tell them whether their uniform pricing system maximizes revenue.
