COMPANY
Our client is a leading joint venture (OEM) industrial components manufacturer based in China, well known for its products and technology innovation. The Company’s products are marketed worldwide in North and South Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. With a Chinese entrepreneur as a major shareholder who has injected vast investment in the business, the Company has also attracted other leading manufacturers around the world as partners or shareholders.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors
PROFILE
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities/attributes:
University degree holder in science subject, preferably Chemistry-related subjects.
Solid experience in general management within industrial components OEM/ODM environment.
Proven success in product development and operations in related product fields and cost control.
A strong team player with proven communication skills with all walks of life.
Strong leadership skills with an open-mind to new ideas.
A visionary with solid, hands-on business development, product innovation, manufacturing excellence and market development experience.
Proven skills in formulating business strategies and able to spot business opportunities to achieve the Company’s business objectives.
Sound business acumen and proven track records in managing full P&L.
He/she must be team-oriented, yet able to demonstrate superb leadership and vision to build up the management team.
Should possess integrity, business ethics and have a good reputation in his/her current business sector.
On top of proficiency in English, Chinese language skill is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role’s primary mandate is to oversee the company’s operation with business networks around the globe. The position will have full P&L responsibilities with extensive exposure in sales & marketing, business development, manufacturing, product development, quality control and assurance and engineering.
Achieve profit and cash flow objectives for the entire business.
Primary accountability for cost containment, business development (i.e. customer acquisition) product research and development, engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality assurance, customer service and strategic alliances/ relationship cultivation, etc.
Effectively lead, motivate and develop the management team with modern management style.
Organize resources to achieve the designated goals and objectives.
Establish short, medium and long term product and market development initiatives to achieve market leader in the industry.
Besides doing OEM/ODM, develop effective marketing strategies to promote the range of products by the Company’s own brand name.
The position will be vested with considerable authority and autonomy, however, the person is also required to communicate effectively with the Board of Directors and always keep informed of the actions and initiatives against market competitions.
COMPENSATION
An attractive compensation package, including a base salary, incentives, accommodation, chauffeur and other executive benefits will be structured to attract the successful candidate.
