KnowledgeLink Group, Inc. is an international education management and consulting firm. KnowledgeLink designs, implements and expands educational, cross-cultural and professional programs between educational institutions and people from around the globe. KnowledgeLink is opening a new international school in Chongqing, China. As part of our international school, we have a kindergarten department. Accordingly, we are seeking 4 kindergarten teachers. This is a highly exciting and challenging position in a new international school. The ideal candidate should be responsible for fostering the intellectual and social development of children. We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who love working with kids.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include:
- Plan, evaluate, and deliver lessons.
- Introduce children to disciplines, and basic knowledge of mathematics, language, science, and social studies.
- Use games, music, artwork, films, books, computers, and other tools to teach basic skills.
- Use play and hands-on teaching.
- Corporate with other teachers in the same classroom in lesson designing and conducting.
- Read and study the current topics in early childhood education.
- Utilize curricula that reflect the understanding of diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
- Write quarterly report to record students’ growth and communicate with parents on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
- Demonstration of a neutral accent, clear pronunciation, good intonation and English language rhythm.
- Ability to relocate to China.
- Instructional skills to keep kids’ attention.
- Patient, passion and love for young kids.
- Sense of responsibility.
- Creativity to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to talk with students, peer teachers, parents and administration officials.
Additional Qualities:
- Masters degree in related fields.
- Ability to speak both English and Chinese.
- Experience working in multi-cultural settings.
- Experience teaching in private kindergartens.
- Kindergarten teacher certification.
