Client: The client is a full practice intellectual property firm with established offices in South-East Asia, providing comprehensive legal services on all aspects of trademarks, designs, patents, copyright prosecution and litigation, anti-counterfeiting strategies and IP and Domain names portfolio management.
Title: IP Consultant
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
1. Under direct supervision of the department, coordinate and execute, on client's behalf, activities related with the registration and enforcement of Intellectual Property;
2. Advise and assist clients on the development, use and protection of intellectual property rights;
3. Work together with the legal department in handling infringement cases;
4. Address legal issues;
5. Render legal advice;
6. Evaluate client's intellectual property rights and provide guidance on intellectual property strategies;
7. Assist the partner and the head of department in the performance of other day to day work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above on Law;
2. Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing;
3. At least 3 years of working experience as lawyer in the IPR field;
4. Be able to work independently;
5. Experience to lead a team preferred;
6. Team spirit and service oriented;
7. Be able to work under pressure and travel.
