职位一： Data Scientist
岗位职责：
We are seeking a data scientist to conduct applied research on Big Data. This is an exciting position, providing the candidate an opportunity to solve web scale and high impact business problems using statistical methodologies, data modeling and machine learning technologies.
o Work with business and analytics partners to identify opportunities of business optimization;
o Conduct and manage applied research and modeling work in the areas of user behavior/intent analysis, BOT processing, etc.
o Design and develop metrics and their visualization tool to evaluate business health;
o Serve as subject matter expert and drive thought leadership in the areas of identifying buyer experience improvement needs, measurement and supporting release decisions for new algorithms.
o Mentoring and coaching junior staffs, driving internal operational excellence, and developing career for the team
任职资格的具体描述：
oExcellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. Experience in Java, Python or C++ is a must.
oExperience in data mining and machine learning techniques like feature extraction, decision tree, additive models, EM algorithm, SVM, etc is a must.
oExperience in applied statistics including hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, model evaluation, forcasting, etc. is a strong plus.
oHands-on with R or Hadoop/Pig/Hive is a strong plus.
oSuperior communications skills, both verbal and written in English and Chinese
oAbility to work independently and in a team to research innovative solutions to challenging business problems
oAttention to detail and data accuracy.

岗位职责：
As part of the Platform Frameworks team, we pride in ourselves in our ability to conceptualize, develop and support a cutting-edge platform that powers the latest generation of eBay applications. We will work closely with cross functional teams (Architects, Product Development, QA), using our technical knowledge to improve the functionality of the platform framework.
任职资格的具体描述：
Job Requirements
o Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field is required. Masters degree is preferred
o 8+ years of progressive experience with platform development with exposure to as many of the following technologies:
o Java and/or JVM based languages such as Scala
o Web frameworks/technologies (JSP, JSF)
o Application servers (Geronimo, Glassfish, JBoss)
o scripting languages (javascript, Python)
o Contemporary and emerging platforms - Node.js, Play
o Multiple OS (Windows, Linux, Mac)
o Eclipse
o SCM systems - preferably Git
o OSGI
o Build management tools (Maven, Ivy)
o Excellent English communication skills with both non-technical designers and software engineers.
o Ability to self-organize and work effectively within a small team with minimal supervision
o Strong customer orientation
o Good time management and be able to work on concurrent assignments with different
