Company focus on providing technical and business advisory services to clients in the maritime sector. The mananging consultant will work in the area of business advisory (consulting).
Reporting line: Managing Consultant (Dutch)
Working Location: Downtown, Shanghai
Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide business advisory services to mainly (container) shipping lines, but potentially also to ship yards and port operators
Employer’s primary focus is serving clients in the greater China region (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) but we will also serve clients in other Asian countries like Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc when needed.
The consultant is expected to participate in project teams together with a project manager and potentially other consultants.
The consultant actively helps the managing and principal consultants when acquiring new clients and developing new knowledge in the area of shipping
Requirements:
Project management experience/ familiarity
Basic understanding of the maritime sector
Hard worker/ flexible
University degree in relevant business area
