Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, design, conversion and selling of fashion apparels for specific range.
Also responsible for creating sourcing and conversion ideas using multiple factories while maintaining product design integrity and innovations.
Design, Development and Sourcing
Work with designing team in Europe, study market trends, design new products to meet the needs of designer / consumers.
Need to interact closely with factories to track technical design, material development.
Need good knowledge of multiple factory sourcing and operations for good fabrics / trims / accessories.
Co-ordinate sampling with involvement in sourcing of fabrics, trims and accessories keeping in view the costs and time frame.
Experience
candidate shud be having an experience of 8-10 years of apparel development or product management in reputed brands
Extensive knowledge of the apparel industry and trends; experience and working knowledge with raw materials, garment production.
• ability to combine information from market sales and production data with fashion forecasts and translate into smart product-line decisions
• Must have proven ability to think creatively and to attack problems and challenges with a must win attitude.
• Decisive; well-organized; detail oriented; ability to work with other executives; calm under pressure.
• Must be willing to travel. Travel tasks will primarily be, sourcing and trends study tours. Also travel to get work done with our partner factories.
