JD of our software opening is as below.
Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
-Responsible for software design/development and system architecture design for a wide range of PC, industrial, and consumer products ranging from simple embedded designs through complex PC integrated software in Windows/Linux/RTOS environments.
-Develop, enhance, document, and unit test software and tools at all functional levels from driver through GUI applications.
-Provide technical support and expertise to IDT field engineers and customers.
Requirements
-BS or higher degree in Computer Science or closely related field;
-Minimum 5 years software development experience;
-Strong C/C++ coding skills required, with xml, Java, etc. a plus;
-Good skills/experience with both PC Windows and Linux environments;
-Experience with PC Audio a strong plus;
-Some travel may be required (mostly to local customer sites);
-Proven ability to work in global team environment, including English language speaking/written skills.
Sr. System Engineer
Responsibilities
-Design and debug systems with digital / analog mixed signals;
-Perform verification / validation for silicon chip;
-Build silicon evaluation board related schematic, PCB and BOM;
-Work with design engineer for silicon validation and application;
-Interact with chip architect and study industry standards to understand system requirements and perform feasibility study of new product proposals.
Requirements
-Bachelor or Master Degree of Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering, or Control engineering with 3+ years experience in electronics system development;
-Familiar with board design, low noise amplifier or ADC board design / debug is a plus;
-Familiar with various lab test equipments. Experience with power meter validation or design is big plus;
-Familiar with C / C++ programming language, better if has ARM M0/M3 experience;
-Hands on experience with schematic and PCB design, and familiar with Cadence Allegro SPB is a plus;
-Knowledge of script languages such as python, TCL or Perl is preferred;
-Knowledge on digital logic and FPGA development is a plus.
