Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated top performer with deep technical skills in mechanism and demonstrated technical leadership across disciplines (HW, FW, SW). You will be developing mechanical system for the award winning Inkjet All-in-One and Single Function Printer devices:
• Apply new materials/new methods/ new industry design onto printers.
• Design printer mech system / case part by 3D/2D CAD releasing.
• Refine the design in order to achieve desired functionalities and more reliable system.
• Work with procurement team/vendors/CM to come up with lower cost ME solutions, You will be working with tooling maker to get the design compliant with tooling process.
• You will be working with Firmware engineers/electrical engineers/human factor engineers to integrate discrete parts into one workable printer.
• Work on printer servo system physical creation/parameter adjustment/image refining.
• You will be working closely with quality engineers to get all issues resolved.
• We need your expertise and desire to learn in areas such as User Interface, reuse, networking, imaging, control systems, graphical user interfaces, FAX, teleconnect, and I/O. Together with some of the best computer science and electrical engineers in the industry, you will invent new solutions for our All-in-One and Printer devices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study, with 0-8 years related experience or equivalent.
• Strong insight of structure design skills, at least familiar with one CAD tool.
• Familiar with material science, understand material processing.
• Analytic ability in order to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently or on a team, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Proven teamwork skills and ability to work with a degree of ambiguity.
• Ability to interface with all levels in testing and hardware/software development organization.
• Excellent communication skills and can collaborate globally.
• Good English skills, specially speaking and listening skills as we need to communicate with global team every day.
Desired:
• Previous experience in the design of inkjet printer and/or related printing technologies.
