CDM Marketing Program Manager
Position Summary: The Customer Data Management (CDM) Program Manager will be the key liaison for one of three geo’s marketing organizations, I/T and the Customer Data Management teams. This person will act as a consultant between the business and the CDM organization to analyze and define business needs while assisting in the development of appropriate solutions. Activities include evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements and translation into proper solution specifications. Formulates and defines scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business needs and business processes. Understands the business implications of solutions and assists in defining the solutions to support any future business requirements.
This role will link up with peers within the CDM organization globally to develop and maintain business strategy, policies, standards and guidelines pertaining to global enterprise data. This position is also entrusted with advocacy, monitoring, improving, and maintaining a high level of data quality utilizing a strong data governance process.
Responsibilities
• Drive coordination with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize MDM initiatives
o Responsible for rolling out MDM tools by collecting requirements, gaining BRD and TRD signoffs, coordinating UAT testing by the business and gaining final rollout approvals
o Drive data acquisitions with business while coordinating with other geo MDM teams
o Develop and enforce methods and validation mechanism for ensuring data quality, coverage and accuracy
• Understand and manage the key data systems necessary for the business to meet their strategic requirements
o Receive business issues, track and gain approvals using the approved MDM tools
• Lead and drive Data Governance program initiatives for channel
o Provide input from the CDM/Marketing teams to the Data Governance Committee meetings and lead discussions on the prioritization and recommendations to master data management issues.
o Track data governance process change requests, conduct process gap analysis, and provide recommendations
o Provide status reporting to the Data Governance Committee team members and escalate issues as necessary
o Manage data to ensure adherence to consistent definitions, naming standards, development of standard calculations, and adherence to security requirements
• Manage communications between the business, MDM team and data governance committee which includes executive presentations
o Including effective communications between both the management and business teams with the CDM organization
• Responsible for audits of data quality, PII data and others as needed by the business
Education/Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MIS, Computer Science, or comparable field
• 7-10 years experience in a marketing or data management role with marketing data
• Recommended 2-3 years Project Management experience
• Experience working with marketing business data and processes
• Experience working in a large global complex organization
• Experience working with both an I/T organization and business stakeholders
• Experience with external 3rd party data providers such as Dun & Bradstreet
• Experience with Consumer, Small & Medium Business, Large Enterprise or Public marketing programs
