The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, defining and tracking key metrics, and working closely with engineering, sales, and support to ensure growth, engagement, revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(1) Managing Slide's product development including product specifications and messaging
(2) Managing the entire product life cycle from conception to development to release
(3) Quantitative analysis of product/key metrics
(4) Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering and QA, track product development, and develop product launch plans
(5) Engage closely with engineering team and assist in determining the best technical implementation methods as well as reasonable execution schedule
(6) Be an expert with respect to the competition
(7) Own the product metrics and responsibility for the ultimate success of the product
REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Resume with proven results not just description of duties - We want to see metrics
(2) Passion for writing product specifications and building engaging applications
(3) Outstanding creativity plus stellar written and oral communication skills
(4) Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to details
(5) An enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player with an unparalleled work ethic and desire to win
(6) Previous start-up experience is a strong plus
(7) BA/BS degree (CS, EE, Math, Stats preferred)
( Innate ability to understand customers
(9) Strong knowledge of the consumer internet space
(10) Fluent in English speaking and writing
Desirable Skills:
(1) Proven ability in developing winning product strategies for consumer internet space
(2) 2-5 years of overseas product management experience in web or social media (particularly in US/Europe)
(3) 2-5 years of experience from top consulting firms (particularly those from US/Europe); game or web industry experience in not a must
