The PEOPLE Function Manager
Purpose
The People Function Manager exists to lead & manage the PEOPLE Function to secure long-term coworker commitment and contribution.
Mission
The PEOPLE Function shall guide, support, and follow up PEOPLE policies, practices, and processes which support our PEOPLE Strategy
Responsibilities
1. To formulate a strategic direction for the PEOPLE Function based on input from XXX Global HR, The PEOPLE Business Development Group, and all input relevant to our business in China.
2. To organize and provide direction & support to the Central PEOPLE Functional Specialists so that they may deliver to the organization PEOPLE processes effective in securing XXX PEOPLE who are competent and committed to XXX’s Vision and Business Idea.
3. To organize and develop the Store PEOPLE Function so that we may provide effective guidance, support, and follow up of our PEOPLE Processes to line-managers and coworkers in their respective business units.
4. To develop line-manager and coworker competence of our PEOPLE Processes and practices.
5. To encourage and develop new and more effective ways of working which are consistent with the XXX Concept, Culture & Values and our overall business direction in China.
