Client:

A German firm which represents leading suppliers of the Chemistry industry all over the world.



Salary:

Up to RMB 10,000 / month according to experience.



Starting date:

As soon as possible



Location:

Beijing



Reporting to:

Foreign Product Manager (located in HK) and Chinese Superior



Travelling:

60% inside China



Recruitment process:

+ CV Screening

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews



Responsibilities:

+ Plan and execute the penetration into the key account / global customer

+ Develop leads, prepare and submit quotations, negotiate and close orders with customers, primarily in the coating industry

+ Sell products like Aluminum and Pigment pastes to local and multinational customers

+ Realize project acquisition according to the strategy

+ Implement and maintain sales strategy with priorities based on realizable incremental targets

+ Identify and prioritize company sales support activities to maximize opportunities for growth with assessment of likely gains of short term, medium term and long term

+ Fully manage the sales assignment and take charge of the after-market responsibility

+ Conduct relevant market research

+ Travel extensively in the entire assigned territory

+ Identify and develop new distributors and provide them with sales and after-sales support

+ Report effectively to the superiors for all the activities undertaken

+ Correspondence with the distributors and head office whenever necessary

+ Liaison with distributors, institutes, tender authorities, head office etc.

+ Provide suggestions which would effectively contribute to the growth the company’s business and profitability

+ Complete other assignments and special projects as requested



Requirements:

+ Have bachelor degree in Chemistry or Polymer

+ Have strong commercial understanding

+ Have formal sales skills training

+ Master Degree in Chemistry or Polymer will be a plus

+ Have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the Coating Industry (North and North-East China)

+ Have experience in selling or buying different products to the Coating industry

+ Have sales experience, preferably of imported equipment, or at least of foreign joint-venture equipment

+ Track record of identifying, projecting and meeting sales targets

+ Have excellent knowledge of local business culture and sales process in China

+ Having existing network of contacts within the Coating Industry will be a plus

+ Computer literacy, using Windows and MS Office

+ Have effective and efficient communication skills

+ Have good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

+ Be customer - focused

+ Have ability to meet deadlines

+ Self-motivated, flexible and a team-player

+ Be fluency in Mandarin (written and oral)

+ Be fluency in English (written and oral)

+ Meticulous / pays attention to detail

+ Strong problem solving mentality

+ Be willing to work and live in Beijing

+ Be willing to travel extensively within China
