Job Title : Business Development Manager – Power and Energy Management Solutions
Work Location: Beijing or Shanghai
Reports to (Direct/Indirect): Process Solutions Manager, Greater China
Position Summary
The PEMS Business Development Manager will work in close collaboration with vertical industrial solutions managers, process business development managers, key account managers and country sales managers to identify, approach and successfully capture new business relations with manufacturers of Power/Energy and end-users coming with needs of Power and Energy Management Solutions.
The PEMS BDM will be the focal point for technical and project information flow so as to effectively coordinate the combined resources of Rockwell Automation sales, support and product groups on behalf of the customer.
The PEMS BDM will utilize his/her domain expertise to identify customer problems and create a significant competitive advantage for the customer.
Principle duties & responsibilities:
_Works & takes lead to co-plan and prioritize the activities which will generate greatest value for the customer and Rockwell Automation.
_Work proactively with the customer to make product and architectural recommendations. Examples would include technical suitability, cost/ performance evaluation, technical trends, migration considerations, proof of concept, configuration testing, and customer application assistance.
_Responsible for global project coordination. This would include: communications of technical implementation issues, project notification and tracking, OEM coordination and/or conversion and customer support plan development.
_Act as the technical focal point for Rockwell Automation product group interface. Examples include: technical requirement definition, beta site evaluation, BPI, communication/resource coordination related to quality and recall administration.
_Responsible for promoting the Power and Energy Management Solutions – working with the End Customer to identify quantitative implementation benefits.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
_BS in engineering field or equivalent experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICAITONS:
Should have experience in a utility power generation facility OR industrial power house. Must have sales experience in many of the following technical areas:
_Utility tariff analysis
_Electrical Systems
_Power Quality Metering
_Electrical SCADA systems
_Emergency Load Shedding
_Demand Management
_Application of VFDs and Energy Efficient Motors
_Thermal Systems
_Industrial Boiler Operations and Control
_Chiller and Refrigeration Systems
_Cooling Towers
_Air Compressors
_HVAC-R
_Energy Efficiency and Optimization calculations for the above systems
EXPERIENCE:
_A minimum of Eight years related experience in applying automation and/or information solutions for Power & Energy industry
_Technical sales support, direct sales, or sales consultant experience is required.
_The candidate should be familiar with customer centric selling or equivalent sales process for solution selling.
主要负责给用电大户做节能方案，为电厂服务，熟悉电厂运作模式，熟悉电厂能源分配，用中低压变频器实现电厂节能，
并不需要自己去开发客户，主要就是和销售一起去客户那里和客户谈配套，谈方案，偏技术
