Production Manager, China Region
Job Title: Production Manager, China Region
Location: Shanghai
Reporting Line: General Manager
Company Profile: Our client is a European multinational group active in the manufacturing, sales and distribution of fine chemical products (like high-performance polymers and so on)
Salary and Benefits: Open, Depending on candidate’s capabilities and background
Job Responsibilities
Overall responsible for daily operations of manufacturing department to achieve business goals
To lead the Production team to ensure the production plan completed in time and meets the requirement of sales
Set manufacturing goals consistent with the plant and business goals and implement programs accordingly
Prepare production annual budget and implement cost control measurements
In charge of raw material planning and detail scheduling
Ensure all production SOP and parameters are well followed
Be responsible for safety operation. Keep daily operation in line with Corporate EHS Standard
Review Production process regularly towards ensuring that the Production cycle time is optimized and implemented
Ensure the products meet quality standards. Coordinate with team members for the production process to improve quality
Review regularly all quality issues and ensure agreed corrective/preventive plans are implemented
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree or Master degree in Chemical or the related
At least 3 years working experience in a multinational company at the management or supervision level
Have broad technical understanding of chemical and/or polymer processes
People Management, Training & Development and coaching skills
Independent minded, self-confident, have a sufficient level of empathy, know how to work in team and motivate people
Strong learning capability and desire to learn and grow the career through contribution to company’s growth strategy
Good communication and coordination skills
Good command of written and spoken English
