US consumer electronics company in Suzhou is looking for:
Manufacturing Director(Asia)
Job Description
A seasoned candidate is needed locally in Suzhou, China to seed regional office and establish connectivity to global functions. In a centralized outsourced supply chain environment, the local manufacturing leader is responsible for overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, new product manufacturing line setup/process, production control, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control, potential materials functions, such as purchasing, and shipping/receiving activities.
?Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers of manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales.
?Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.
?Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
?Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
?May direct international manufacturing operations.
?Provides strategic leadership and management to a multi-function organization or complex, integrated single function.
?Usually manages two or more department managers.
Qualification
?Requires Degree or relevant experience.
?Requires 10 plus years manufacturing experience in China.
?Must have manufacturing management experience with consumer electronics firm.
?Must have experience working with outsource manufacturing.
?Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
