Our client, a leading lighting manufacturer in Europe, is seeking for Production Manager to join their production and purchase teams in Nansha (Guang Dong province), China.
SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the whole production process in the company.
This includes organization off warehouse, painting, machining, welding, polishing, assembling and supervision of the Quality department.
The focus should be on an excellent organized production that match the goals of the owners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Analyze of the whole process to have it maximized on cost and time effective parameters
Organization of the whole process step by step and follow up day by day
Organizing day by day the needs of the customers into a planned process in production
Have very good contacts with purchase responsible and custom contact to correct every day the planning of all the production division
Having daily meetings and appointments with the responsible from every department from production to finalize production and evaluate production planning
Improve production facility to have it with higher efficacy
Working out idea’s and investment plans to have it running in production.
Supervision of the quality department to achieve a 100% failure free product.
Planning of people, their time and the company assets day by day
Smooth operational running of the production cycle.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide presentations and analyzes to the HQ and the Chinese Plant Manager
Provide on the job training for new staff people
Advising and search for new production people members
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or Mechanical Engineering.
3 to 5 years experience in a leading production role in mechanical production.
Experience with machining mechanical parts
Human skills as organisator and problem solver are wanted
Experience in lighting business is an asset.
Fluent English speaking and written is demanded. Mandarin is required.
