Will analyze industry wide storage subsystems and storage related hardware/software offerings and reports an unbiased point of view.
Requirements:
1. Deep understanding of storage systems and networking from the systems level
2. Expertise in three or more of the following: Operating Systems, NAS, CAS, file systems, networking, iSCSI, storage clustering and/or virtualization, data services such as snapshots, replication or reduplication.
Knowledge of server level virtualization such as VMWare and/or Microsoft Hyper-V is ideal
3. Knowledge of database or data warehousing applications is a plus
Scripting and/or coding experience is helpful
4. BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
6+ Years relevant experience
5. Keen storage market sense
