Position Title: Marketing Manager
Function: Marketing Department
Location: Shanghai
The Product Manager is responsible for the comprehensive product portfolio development, commercialization, and management for products targeted to the Foodservice and Hospitality market segments. This position is tasked with the execution of the overall market and product marketing strategies established for the Foodservice and Hospitality business.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead food service marketing strategy development. Drive growth by establishing and achieving lead generation targets and methods for sales and business development.
2. Execute strategic initiatives to: Optimize operating income dollars, Successfully drive organic growth (identify, prepare, execute, and track plans to grow business), and Manage product roadmap and develop business cases for new product initiatives.
3. Analyze market and industry trends for both existing and potential new markets. Direct and conduct detailed industry and company research as appropriate. Maintain database on competitive intelligence and provide periodic analysis on main competitors.
4. Measure voice-of-the-customer, customer retention and attrition, providing periodic analysis on topics.
5. Establish pricing and channel strategy for products.
6. Develop and execute product/sales support materials and conduct periodic sales training sessions. Partner with internal and external resources to deliver sales tools for products.
7. Organize customer events and participate in selected trade shows.
8. Manage tasks within established expense budgets.
9. Assist in the development of new products and marketing programs for product lines, brands and channels. Interact across the business, its various levels and functional groups to ensure successful project coordination.
10. Key decision maker in determining products produced, manufacturing capacities, marketing strategies, outside purchases and other line maintenance activities
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business related discipline. MBA is highly preferred
2. More than 10 years traditional multi-functional marketing, brand segment marketing management experience.
3. Demonstrated ability to drive new product development from ideation to commercialization.
4. Data-driven and structured mindset.
5. Technical ability to work closely with engineering team.
6. Strong general business and strategic skills. Business sense and emotional commitment to defend the best interests of the products and brands involved.
7. Excellent cross-functional communication skills. Demonstrated project management expertise within a cross-functional team.
8. Financial skills to assess and to drive profitability.
9. Demonstrated creativity and flexibility.
10. Market research experience.
11. Team-oriented, able to work within a fast-paced matrix organization.
12. Extraordinary presentation, writing, reporting, and communication skills.
