Job description
The Role & Responsibilities of the Position
1. Responsible for the well-being of the long-term customer relationship for both the customer and the company;
2. The account manager is the final point of accountability for the delivery of solutions;
3. Lead the commercial negotiations with the customer, in alignment with the account partner and service line leader.
4. Master the contractual agreements between the company and the customer;
5. Responsible for achieving the annual singing goals as identified on the personal goal sheets
6. Work to be valued by the customer as a trusted advisor and a reliable focal point for business systems issues. Be accountable for day-to-day operations and resolving major issues with the customer;
7. Fully understand the customer's business challenges, culture and environment, specifically market trends, future technology, competition and partners that may affect the customer's business;
8. Drive and integrate all activities within the customer's account;
9. Identify and develop third party and partner business relationships and opportunities, taking due regard of corporate relationships;
10. Create and maintain relationships with customers at all levels of the customer's organization, but focused upon senior management.
11. Liaises, teams and communicates effectively, regularly and generously with the aligned service line leaders from the Delivery organization;
12. Represent the ‘voice of the customer’ to the organization; however, understands and balances the customer’s needs with company's requirements;
The Likely Background of the Successful Candidate
To be successful the ACCOUNT MANAGER is expected to have a set of key competencies, experience and attitudes:
General:
• A keen grasp of business environment and culture;
• Capable of working in a heavily-matrixes corporate environment;
• Blessed with a diplomatic nature;
• Has personal drive, enthusiasm and commitment and a true will to succeed;
• Polished and professional executive presence;
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese;
• Creative and an ‘out-of-the-box’ thinker;
• Strong business acumen;
• Knows what it takes to go the extra mile for both the customer and the company
Selling:
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining relationships with telecommunication operator, China Mobile is plus.
• A definitive track record of customer-centric behavior;
• Experienced in selling complex solutions to Telco operator,
Delivery:
• Experience managing project delivery in complex project environments;
• Experience in one or two of the following solutions, M
Required
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in Extensive experience in developing and maintaining relationships with telecommunication operator, China Mobile is plus
• At least 5 years experience in A definitive track record of customer-centric behavior
• At least 5 years experience in Experienced in selling complex solutions to Telco operator
• At least 5 years experience in Experience managing project delivery in complex project environments
• At least 5 years experience in Experience in one or two of the following solutions, MSS, BOSS/CRM, Billing, BI, MISC, ADC, VAS, SDP, IT Planning, SOA
• English: Fluent
• Chinese simplified: Fluent
