Job Title: Oracle DBA, Senior
Location: Shanghai
Report to: Oracle Technical Team Lead
Job Description:
This person will be a member of the DBA team and primarily responsible for E-business suite, B2B application and Hyperion application
Analyze and implement the physical database design and structure, ensure enterprise database environments are in optimal condition, manage Production databases, and support complex problem-solving challenges.
Assist in the resolution of complex problems in support of Production systems in a 24x7 environment. Plan, coordinate, and implement projects or products as required.
Understand the technology workspace in terms of current state, future possibilities, forthcoming technologies and their relevance and impact
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree.
Minimum 6-8 years of Oracle E-business Suite Administration experience on Solaris
Minimum 4-6 years of Oracle Database Administration experience on Solaris/Linux and windows operating systems
Thorough knowledge of the Oracle Applications Framework, architecture, and technology stack
Experience in installation, configuration and support, upgrade of Oracle 11i
Experience with middle tier architectures (9iAS/10gAS) for B2B applications
Experience with Oracle Discoverer (10g) Deployment and upgrades
Experience with Hyperion(9.3/11) deployment and upgrades
Experience in Hot/cold backup mechanisms using Netapps snapshot concepts
Experience in Dataguard, RMAN backup and recovery procedures
Experience in E-business suite performance tuning
DBA level experience with shell scripting, UNIX and Linux administration and working knowledge of netapps storage
Be able to coordinate with development teams and software vendors on issue resolution, planning
Knowledge on Oracle Support processes for technical requests with metalink
Experience in configuring/managing environments with failover/high availability requirements is a plus
Excellent Communication skills
Strong team skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Oracle certification(s) preferred
