Not sure if anyone introduced this place before, 西涌(冲)，深圳， 广东, is not far from Shen Zhen, about one hour drive, a pretty nice little village. The beach is nice, about 4.5 Km long with fine grain sand, and water is clean. Last weekend the water temperature was perfect for swimming. There were only a few tourists which was a little surprised。Beach-side cabins are OK, clean, twin beds, 180 rmb/nite for off season. If you are a light sleeper, better bring your ear-plugs. Seafood is fresh and cheap. Live crabs are 30 rmb/斤. The best is 海鲜粥 for breakfast, cooked with live crabs and shrimp, the best I ever had. You could also BBQ seafood yourself on the beach, plus a Bonfire.
Do not expect 5 star accommodation and service. But you can eat your breakfast/lunch/dinner anytime you like, the hotel owner will cook it for you at your request. Like the song sings:
"You can check-out any time you like,
But you (will) never (want to) leave!"
