Overall Summary
An application developer would be responsible for creating and maintaining systems which support the derivatives confirmations processing process. The FX business is looking to migrate middle and back office functions from manual and silo based solutions to the strategic OTC platform, which will allow for future expected revenue growth. An applicant would work closely with business analysts from the FX operations team to complete the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of these systems. Specifically, the applicant would be integrating the FX options and cash business with DP Risk reporting.
Requirements
An application developer is expected to develop architecturally sound, modular, maintainable component-driven applications. They are also expected to work across multiple technical teams, analyze and renovate existing workflows and system interfaces, propose creative solutions in a time-to-market environment and interact with business users and analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Prior experience, both leading and participating, in the analysis, design and development of MIS reporting applications is required. A successful candidate should have broad-based and in-depth experience with the entire system development life-cycle.
This position requires substantial contact with the business units, along with the internal IT staff. As such, a successful candidate must have effective oral and written communications abilities with the proven ability to present complex ideas clearly.
