Manpower China: Director of IT - Asia
* The Director of IT Asia plans and administers Asia systems architecture, policies and strategic goals for the Information technology based on dynamic business objectives set by Corporate IT directive.
* The director analyzes the regional information systems’ needs of various departments and establishes priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify existing information processing programs.
* The director needs to focus on the use of new and established technologies to enhance and reshape the efficiency and productivity of the business processes.
* He/She needs to identify proper framework to scope and assign appropriate resources to achieve mission critical projects based on prudent judgment and budget constraints.
* Good people skill is required to manage a group of exempt technical IT administrators both in the network infrastructure as well as in the Business Application areas.
* He/She reports to the Director of Corporate IT.
Staff should consist but not limited to:
Network Manager/Deputy Manager:
* Develops, plans, and implements Asia’s network system needs across all functionalities within the various organizations and operating units.
* Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future network requirements to meet the organization's needs.
* He/she leads the configuration of operating Systems to fulfill application, mail, web, and security systems network requirements.
* He/she supports existing MPLS platform, and manages service hosting providers.
* He/she generally manages a group of network analysts and DBAs.
Internet business solution application Administrator
* Focus on deploying web based integrated enterprise CMS (Content Management Systems), supports, manages, administers and enhances Asia web sites – both internet and intranet.
Business Application Systems Manager/Deputy Manager:
* Focus on supporting daily operational business application systems - Oracle.
* Review, evaluate and recommends systems enhancements/improvements to streamline business processes to achieve higher productivity and efficiency.

The responsibilities of the Asia IT Director is to advocate a high level of global user support based on substantive relevant technical knowledge, and to develop, motivate hire and manage capable skilled technical/business analysts to maintain and sustain the daily global business operations.
* Our global complex IT infrastructure includes but not limited to a cluster of LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS, VoIP, in addition to business application systems – Oracle, Cognos, Equity Edge, ADP, Exchange, CRM and CMS.
* As the company continues to grow, the Asia IT Director should anticipate and project quick turn around to support and fulfill many technical and expanding business challenges.
