Responsibilities:
Visit customers to understand customer pain points, identify how COMPANY solutions can help, formulate and execute key account plan, and develop long-term and win-win partnership with the corporate key account.
Learn and master patent information search and analysis based on Derwent World Patent Index (DWPI), Thomson Innovation (TI), and Thomson Data Analyzer (TDA). Advise customer on how to implement COMPANY solutions to develop R&D and IP competence, provide product introduction and demonstration.
Develop and manage contacts and customer relations for each key account, work with client and internal colleagues to advance client’s purchasing process which includes developingand presenting proposal,negotiation on price and terms and conditions, and signing of contracts.
Develop and deliver public speech on related conferences to establish COMPANY thought leadership on Corp R&D.
Track and report sales pipeline in CRM system, contribute on market analysis, assist in establishing product development priorities based on customer insights.
Qualification Required:
Entrepreneurial, proactive, well organized, work independently, strong execution, results driven.Willing to learn and grow with an evolving organization.
Work experience in marketing and sales, knowledge of SPIN and/or Miller Heiman sales methodologies preferred. Ability to talk and demonstrate on ROI to customers. Track record in sales success.
Strong interpersonal skills of good listening, communication and negotiation, for talking to decision maker, professional buyer, technology expert and end users of products at client side.Ability to collaborate directly with global colleagues using English email and telephone call.
Work experience or knowledge on technology competitive intelligence for decision support, technology and product development in corporate, IP management in corporate. Knowledge on information technology and systems. Ability to master and do demonstration on information product.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
