Our client, a leading retail chain in Hong Kong and China, is currently looking for a Retail Operation Manager to join their retail team in Shanghai.
ba<x>sed in Shanghai and reporting directly to the Senior National Manager, the role involves efficient management of the operations and personnel at both the corporate and store level for their China operations.
Responsibilities:
To manage and motivate sales through the development of strong retail personnel
To ascertain order management; ensure accurate stock levels and appropriate product mix
To ensure overall consistency in the quality of the store maintenance, merchandising presentation, service standards, product knowledge of staff, compliance to store and corporate polices and procedures, etc.
To recruit, manage and develop in-store personnel through ongoing feedback and evaluation
To implement ways to boost store sales and maximize sales during full margin periods to ensure that all discount policies are properly followed during regular and sale periods
To work with visual merchandising teams to implement, monitor and coordinate corporate merchandising programs on a regional level
To proactively solve staff problems and customer service complaints
Requirements:
A degree holder or professional diploma
A minimum 8 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in a manager capacity with extensive store management experience with mid to high end fashion brands in China
Exceptional planning and organizational skills
Enthusiastic attitude and reliable with solid customer service and people development orientation
An avid problem solver who can present practical solutions
Solid communication skills both verbal and written in English and Mandarin
