Roles &Responsibilities
The individual will be a senior member of Private Equity Fund team, the candidate will focus on deal sourcing, execution and ideally with exit experience. Work with the team in evaluating investment decisions and identifying opportunities in the China Market.
Typical duties include:
• Private equity deal sourcing
• Evaluation/Due Diligence of potential deals
• Negotiation/Execution/Structuring
• Monitoring of the portfolio
Organizational Structure
Director for Deal Sourcing & Execution will work in sole fund commanding body in China: Magellan Capital Advisory Co. Ltd., working directly under CEO of Magellan who is also the Global Head of Fund Business.
• Magellan is the subsidiary of overseeing all the fund related business activity, managing the Funds in China and business development concerned
Qualifications
• University degree gained from a top-tier university
• 10 to 15 years of experience in the financial sector, with the past 5 years in Private Equity sector
• Excellent knowledge in the private equity landscape in China
• Strong capability and connection in deal sourcing with successful cases.
• Excellent communication skills, English language proficient would be a plus.
