Our client is a leading international property developer with a substantial portfolio of mixed use properties across China. With their continued expansion and development drive into second and third tier cities, they have created a new Investment Director position to directly support the CFO and investment committee.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Group CFO you will take responsibility for detailed and comprehensive analysis of investment opportunities, and detailed development and asset management of investment properties. Leading a small team you will focus on:
· Capital investment appraisals and models (Cash flow, IRR)
· Group committed Cap-ex, budgeted and long term planning
· Sales analysis for residential components.
· Analysis of 3rd party valuations and assumptions
· Work closely with business development and acquisition teams within the group bringing strategic investor insight to new development opportunities.
· Build and run complex valuation and asset management models
The Successful Applicant
To qualify for this role, you will:
· Possess at least 8-10 years experience in a real estate finance/asset management capacity.
· Have experience in a large international corporate and understand reporting and compliance requirements.
· Have a keen interest in China real estate developments and latest market trends
· Be confident and client facing with strong presentational skills and an ability to technically support data assumptions.
· First class financial modeling skills and data interpretation.
· Fluency in Chinese and English - to presentational level
