Treasury Consultant Or project manager-Shanghai/Beijing
PRIMARY objectIVE:
l Responsible for completion of consulting assignments as part of SunGard Treasury implementations and projects in Asia Pacific
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
l Assist client with the implementation of AvantGard in accordance with planned project tasks including design, product configuration, training, scoping and estimation of tasks.
l Keep up to date on functionality available in AvantGard and latest releases of new features or modules.
l Ensure organisational systems, tools, processes and standards are followed and adhered to.
l Seek continuous improvement in the processes, methods and standards applied to each consulting assignment.
l ·Translate, communicate and reinforce the goals, values and priorities of the organisation.
l Pro-active investigation of possible business solutions to meet identified and as yet unidentified clients needs.
l Know the client, both internal and external, and delivers professional, personalised service based on that knowledge. Ferment client relations.
l Identify and resolve client issues, assisting with resolution where necessary.
l Contact regularly with the Project Manager and Professional Services Manager to discuss schedule, status and issues on current projects and providing status, prioritisation and possible issues resolutions.
l Recognise business development opportunities and escalate to the Project Services Manager.
l Close liaison with other SunGard offices, especially with regards to the development cycle and client initiatives.
l Ability to work under pressure, both in terms of deliverable deadlines, but also in communication with clients under difficult situations. A calm and professional manner at all times is an essential requirement.
l The ability to pay attention to detail while also being capable of seeing the ‘bigger picture’.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE:
l ·Solid understanding and experience of Corporate Treasury, 5+ years experience
l ·Sound knowledge of Accounting practises
l ·Knowledge of financial instruments (FX, MM etc.)desired, IRS, FRA, Bonds, Hedge Accounting a plus
l ·Has a good knowledge and understanding of operational and business processes
