You need to get the product rated by testing labs so as to comply with the US building codes. There is an organization called ICBO, International Conference for Building Officials. Getting proper certification can greatly reduce product liability. Otherwise no contractors or home centers would carry your products.
Attend trade shows in US. Every year, there are numerous trade shows related to building materials. Once in every three years, there is a big show in Las Vegas, called Con Expo. It is a must, if you want to let people know you.
What is your marketing strategy? What is your budget? There are already so many manufacturers doing vinyl windows here, what is your advantages? How do you differentiate from those who are already here? Need to carefully anylize and study the market. I know for sure that you can make it cheaper.
Who are your customers? New construction? Replacement windows? DIY (Do it yourself)? Are you going to set up your own distribution centers here? What kind of experiences you have in terms of logistics? How much you want to spend in terms of distribution costs? How do you plan to reduce the breakage of the glasses during shipment? Do you plan to set up plants in the US to install the glass panes?
You really have to have someone experienced in this area to do the planning for you. It takes some serious work.
