ligislation is a process making law. it is very very political when the law makers making it.
but once it becomes law, there should not bbe an y politics in it. if you are talking about superime court in usa, the 9 judges are supposed to reflect a sort of balance between the personal bias. those were suposed picked with personal integrity and thus not to bring in their own personal political ideas.
but his is like media, all media are supposed to be free of bias, but yet there is no media is completely free of bias.
back to your example: comparing to the american justice system, the chinese judicial system is much easier to take political influence rather than stay independent.
the american judges, in your example, brings in their personal political iudea to a degree, while the chinese system i am concerned with is the political influence from the government agencies, not individual judges.
in short, law, by itself, is a result of politics, but not part of politics, at least not supposed to be as i see it.
