Our client is a global leader in the field of bar code and label printers, with the cutting-edge technology in its industry. Most of the Fortune 500 companies are its clients globally. In line with the rapid growth in China, they are now looking for Sales Engineers to grow with them.
Responsibilities:
-Serves the Regional Channel Sales Organization as the key technical/application specialist for high performance, mid-range, desktop, and mobile labeling solutions.
-Develops relationships and works extensively with channel partners, end users and major systems integrators to assess needs, position, and integrate solutions in targeted sales projects.
-The incumbent also plays a significant role in replacing competitive printer installations with a company solution.
-This position also serves as the product and technical liaison with Product Management and Engineering in the design of customer specific products.
-With the application solution focus of the company, this position plays an integral role in identifying applications, developing solutions, and making recommendations to both resellers and end-users.
Requirements:
-B.S. in engineering, preferably in software related background;
-Two or more years in a sales support or software engineering role in an high-tech organization;
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win95/98/NT/2000/XP)
-Must have extensive programming experience in either C/C++, VB, JAVA or Delphi
-Effective presentation skills
-Excellent technical writing skills
-Solid understanding of Auto-ID applications/solutions, thermal/thermal transfer printing, networking, label generation software, applications software, and LAN and Host connectivity
-Bilingual (English - Mandarin)
