Linux Product Manager

Role:
• Working as the key person to launch the new Linux product
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the functionality, quality and life cycle planning of the product
• plans in line with Volvo IT strategically plans, business requirements and technology changes
• the budget of the product
• responsible for volume updates for invoicing
• establishing a product team
• establishing product and version plans on yearly basis
• maintenance and 2nd level support according to the VISITS process
• the overall product development, after approval in Product Planning Board
• initiating product development activities
• information and documentation about the product
• education, training and installation routines
• participating in calculation and planning of development and operation activities
• proposing changes which make the system more efficient and / or reduce operation or maintenance costs.
